We often lay awake at night, When the world is fast asleep, And take a walk down memory lane, With tears upon our cheeks. We hold you tightly within our hearts, And there you will remain, Life goes on without you, But it will never be the same. Our family chain has broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, Our chain will link again. Your life was one of kindly deeds, A helping hand for others needs, Sincere and true in heart and mind, Beautiful memories left behind.
